Highlights
Kedarnath - “Where faith climbs higher than the mountains.”
Description
Kedarnath, one of the holiest Shiva temples and part of the Char Dham Yatra, sits at 11,755 ft in the Himalayas. The journey includes a 16 km trek from Gaurikund (or an optional pony/helicopter ride). Surrounded by snow-clad peaks, waterfalls, and the Mandakini River, the experience combines spiritual devotion with breathtaking natural beauty. Most travelers stay overnight near the temple before returning via the same route. Best time to visit: May to June and September to October.
