Upon your arrival at Leh airport, you will be promptly transferred to the enchanting Sham Valley, meandering through picturesque villages along the Indus River. Once you reach Sham Valley, check in to your pre-booked accommodation, where you can relax and rejuvenate. Enjoy an overnight stay in Sham.
After a hearty breakfast, embark on an intriguing journey to Aryan Valley via Khaltse. Depart from the Srinagar highway and follow the course of the Indus River until you reach Achinathang. From there, continue your drive to Beema village, where you will have the opportunity to explore monasteries and the unique villages of Dah-Beema, inhabited by the Drokpa people. Engage with the locals, gaining insights into their daily lives and the adaptations crucial to their seasonal lifestyle. The Drokpa people, with their pure Indo-Aryan descent, uphold their racial purity and distinct cultural characteristics. Return to Sham, making a enroute visit to Lamayuru Monastery and Moonland. After breakfast, continue your adventurous journey to the breath taking Pangong Lake, situated at an elevation of 14,500 feet. The drive will take approximately 6-7 hours. Upon reaching the campsite, you'll have leisure time to appreciate the ever-changing colors of the lake and witness a mesmerizing sunset by its banks. Spend the night at Pangong Lake, surrounded by the serene beauty of nature.
